Music
has been a big influence and best friend to me all my life. I
have been a singer/songwriter and musicians for over six years now, and
enjoyed every minute of it! If I was to classify myself into
a
genre, I think it would be fairly accurate to say alternative rock.
My Lyrics are pure and honest emotions cradled by the music
that
I create to back it up and give it balance.
Although at a younger age in my life I was more focused on learning to play the
guitar and taking singing lessons, the first opportunity to be in a band came to
me as being a bass player. Eventually that band fell apart and I focused a
little more on my solo work. About a year after the first band I was in had
broken up I got another chance to be in a band, but yet again I was playing
bass. After about three months of being together, the lead guitarist and singer
of the band had to move away because of his day job. Since he and the drummer
started the band, after he moved away that was pretty much the end of the band.
I spent a little time trying to put my own band together, but mainly focused on
creating music and lyrics. After I got my recording engineer certification and
got my studio equipment I decided to create my own CD. I use a drum program to
build my drums then do the recording of the bass, guitar, and singing
myself.
